We found out on March 21 (Shaun's Birthday) that we were going to have a baby. It was exciting and shocking at the same time. I woke up early that morning to take a pregnancy test. When it showed up positive I was a little shocked. I went to wake up Shaun and he just looked at the test and said "It's never done that before." We double checked the result at the health center and sure enough it was positive. Shocked and excited we began looking at names for our baby. There were two names that we thought were really funny...Bubbles and Chubby. So we gave our little one a nick name...Chubby! Baby Chubby is due to arrive November 5th. 
Ultrasound
We had our first doctors appointment on April 2nd. We also got our first picture of Chubby. Looks like a little gummy bear to me! It was really cute to see him wiggle around and pretty amazing to hear his little heart beat. On June 26th we had our second ultrasound and found out we are having boy!
First Stuffed Animals
Lambert was the frist stuffed animals we bought for Chubby; we just couldnt resist. Auntie Louise sent Chubby the Fraggles. I'm sure he will have a great time playing with them. In the mean time his daddy is taking good care of them.
First Outfits
Here are some of the first outfits Chubby got from Nana Kathy. Shaun really liked the one on the right becuase it says Daddy's helper. His outfits from Grandma Lesley had not yet arrived.
The CribThe crib arrived mid July and we were so excited we had to put it together right away. Shaun did most of the work while I supervised/read the instructions. Shaun said overall it was pretty easy. We got the bedding a month later after standing in the store for over an hour. Now we are just waiting for the little guy to get here!
Baby ShowerWe had our first baby shower on October 18th. It was a ton of fun and Chubby got some great stuff. (Thanks Everybody) The kids wanted to sing Happy Birthday to the baby so the balloon is standing for chubby.
18 Days & Ready!!!
I have 18 days until the baby's due date and I am so excited. I am ready to not be pregnant. I think Shaun is ready for that too.
